Maple View Middle School students will compete as independent grade-level teams in the Kent/Tahoma League. Each quarter there will be at least one sport offered for boys and one sport offered for girls. Students who wish to participate must purchase an ASB card from the cashier, complete the online sports registration, have a sports physical on file and pay all outstanding fines: TSD Online Payments. They will then be issued an athletic clearance - also called a "pink card" - which is to be presented to the coach the first day of practice. Students must provide their own transportation home after practices and games.
Non-cut sports (football, dance, wrestling and track) require the participation fee to be paid prior to receiving a pink card. Pink cards will be distributed by our cashier once all of the requirements have been met.
Cut sports (volleyball, basketball, baseball and fastpitch) require ASB card, completion of the online sports registration, have a sports physical on file and pay all outstanding fines: TSD Online Payments to receive a pink card. Tryouts will be held the first three days of practice. Those who make the team will have one week to pay the participation fee.
