 Important Dates:

March/April: Principal visits to LWES, GPES, and SLES parent meetings for Q&A.

April 15-19: Registration video to watch at home and in class.
April 15-19: Principal visits to 5th grade classrooms. 
April 15: Registration window opens.

May 9: Virtual Q&A with current MVMS 6th graders and Principal Weis.

August 27: 6th grade parent/principal meeting and 6th grade student orientation event.

September: Open House.

For current 8th grade students going to THS in the fall:

Dear Parents/Guardians of 8th Grade Students,

We are excited to be working with you on registering your student for the 2024-2025 school year. Our goal is to help support our families as they register and transition into high school. In an effort to do this, here are some important dates and information about class registration.

February 26th - THS registration website goes live! Take some time before registering to go through the Course Catalog and explore the videos, schedule change policy, college credit and future ready details, course homework hours, and FAQs, so you and your student can be ready to register. Use the link or QR code to quickly access our registration website. https://bit.ly/THSclassreg

March 12 & 13 - Lessons in Stretch class about registration and tour THS registration website.

March 20 - Future Freshman Night at THS - MVMS: 6-7pm - STMS: 7:30-8:30pm

Eighth graders and their parents/guardians are invited to THS to get a big picture overview of life at THS, including courses and clubs.

March 19/20 - Counselors will be providing classroom lessons on class registration during students’ science (MVMS) or social studies (STMS) class. We recommend going over the videos and materials again with your student. They can be found under Class of 2028 on the THS registration website.

March 19 - Skyward Registration Opens at 8:00am!

March 29 at 3:00pm - Skyward Registration Closes! Take your time, but don’t miss the deadline!

Graduation Requirements - Tahoma School District requires every student to earn 29 credits in order to graduate. Use the link below, or QR code, to begin planning the courses you will need to take over the next 4 years. https://bit.ly/THSgradrequire

We will attempt to contact students who do not register by the deadline to see if additional help is needed. As a last resort, our counseling team will automatically register all students missing registration in Skyward.
