Athletics

Maple View Middle School offers athletics throughout the school year to enrich our students' school experience. 6th graders participate in short, fun seasons, and our 7th and 8th graders compete as independent grade level teams in the Kent/Tahoma middle school league.

6th Grade Sports

A variety of sports are offered to our 6th grade students during the school year. The intent is to provide our incoming middle school students an opportunity to explore different sports without the concern of being cut. These are fun, short seasons followed by a jamboree against Summit Trail at the end of the season. There is no practice on jamboree dates.

Practices will be held two days per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:45 am to 7:30 am. Athletes who wish to participate must have purchased a 6th grade ASB card, have completed registration for each sport through Family ID, wear appropriate shoes/clothing, and provide their own transportation to each practice. Registration will open for each sport approximately two weeks prior to the first practice.
